Rubber back-up pads are used with abrasive sanding and grinding discs. The rubber back-up pad has spiral ribs to provide contact points for the abrasive disc, and to form channels for air flow which extend the life of the disc by up to 50%.

Rubber back-up pads are used with sanding and grinding discs. The rubber back-up pad has spiral ribs to provide contact points for the work disc, and to form channels for air flow which extend the life of the disc by up to 50%.
Polypropylene pads are also available by special order. They are useful for fine grit discs.

Cut Off Wheels, Type 27
As the name implies, cut off wheels are designed to cut through solid materials such as metal, stainless steel, concrete, stone, or a combination of such material. Similar in structure to a thicker grinding wheel, cut off wheels are thin and are used edge-on to cut through the material.
These cut-off discs are Type 27, Depressed Center style. -
