Flap Disk, High Density Zirconia, Type 27
CGW Flap discs blend and finish in one operation which replaces the traditional two-step grinding process of T27 grinding wheels and sanding discs. Flap discs provide a more consistent finish. CGW flap discs reduce processing time which increases productivity for lower parts finishing costs and provides an overall cost savings. CGW flap discs are engineered for full use of the coated abrasive material. Layering the abrasive cloth flaps allows the discs to wear evenly which constantly exposes new sharp grain.

ZEC Grinding Wheels
The ZEC dic contains a mix of A/O (Aluminum Oxide) S/C (Silicon Carbide). These grain types are very aggressive. The ZEC disc is flat with a plastic back. The ZEC fits most angle grinders and does not require a backing pad, but attaches directly to the spindle of the grinding machine. Quick Change Discs, Stiff Back
CGW Quick Change discs are ideal for demanding applications that require heavy force and excellent stock removal. Their STIFF BACK technology allows for +20% more stock removal on high pressure applications. Stiff backed discs also last 30% longer then standard discs when edge wear is an issue.
Quick Change STIFF BACK discs are equal to resin fiber discs for aggressive deburring and interrupted cuts.
The 2″ back pad is required to use these Quick Change discs. -
