Quick Change Discs, Stiff Back
CGW Quick Change discs are ideal for demanding applications that require heavy force and excellent stock removal. Their STIFF BACK technology allows for +20% more stock removal on high pressure applications. Stiff backed discs also last 30% longer then standard discs when edge wear is an issue.
Quick Change STIFF BACK discs are equal to resin fiber discs for aggressive deburring and interrupted cuts.
The 2″ back pad is required to use these Quick Change discs.

Premium ceramic grain with grinding aid for cool cutting and aggressive stock removal. For use on carbon steel, stainless steel, heat sensitive materials and hard-to-grind alloys.

Glass Sanding Disc, 5″
Black silicon carbide is harder than aluminum oxide, and is generally used for the abrasives and ceramic industries. ZEC Grinding Wheels
The ZEC dic contains a mix of A/O (Aluminum Oxide) S/C (Silicon Carbide). These grain types are very aggressive. The ZEC disc is flat with a plastic back. The ZEC fits most angle grinders and does not require a backing pad, but attaches directly to the spindle of the grinding machine. In comparison to depressed center wheels or resin fiber discs the ZEC is lighter, cuts faster, and grinds faster while leaving an even surface.
