    Plow bolts feature a countersunk, flat head, square neck, and unified thread pitch. They are commonly used in road graders, scoop shovels, and other heavy-duty industrial equipment where a flat, smooth surface is required. Grade-5 plow bolts are made from a medium-grade, heat-treated carbon steel, and have a plain finish.

    Finished Hex Nuts – Grade 8: Yellow Zinc

    Grade 8 hex nuts have internal machine threads, for use with machine thread bolts and screws. Yellow Zinc offers a modest amount of corrosion resistance, slightly higher than that of clear zinc.

    Grade 5 hex nuts have internal machine threads, for use with machine thread bolts and screws. The most versatile and widely used nut. ANSI B1.1 UNC and UNF Class 2B thread requirement.  Zinc plating, retards the corrosion rate in a normal atmosphere.

    Hex nuts have internal machine threads, for use with machine thread bolts and screws. Grade 2: made of low carbon steel, these fasteners are applicable for most low strength commercial and industrial uses.

    Plow Bolts – Grade 5

    Plow bolts are used for attaching the cutting edge of a plow to the plow blade.  A tempered medium carbon steel. Grade 5 falls between grade 2 and grade 8 in strength, and is commonly found in automotive applications.
