  • Makita XGT 40V 21″ Commercial Lawn Mower

    Landscapers are demanding more cordless alternatives to gas-powered outdoor power equipment. To meet that demand, Makita is expanding the line of cordless OPE to include the 40V max XGT® Brushless 21″ Self-Propelled Commercial Lawn Mower (GML01). With no gas, emissions, oil mixing, or pull starts, the 40V max XGT® Cordless Lawn Mower is a welcome solution  for landscapers.

    The GML01 mower can cut up to 3/5 of an acre in 54 minutes or less with two 40V XGT® 4.0Ah batteries, or up to 1-1/5 acre with (2) 40V XGT® 8.0Ah batteries. It is powered by one 40V XGT® battery, with the ability to carry two batteries allowing the GML01 extended run time using the Auto-Switching two-bay battery system.

    XGT® is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers utilizing 40V max lithium-ion batteries. XGT® is engineered to deliver high power to take on high-demand applications, allowing users to completely transition to a cordless job site. XGT® is equipped with advanced brushless motor engineering, intelligent digital communication, and superior durability features to outpower, outsmart and outlast the rest.

    There are 3 feature models of the GML01 Cordless Lawn Mower. The choices are no batteries, (2) 4.0Ah batteries and charger, and (2) 8.0Ah batteries and charger. All three models come with standard accessories of 21″ mower blade, and discharge slot plugs for mulching or side discharge. Options for the Makita GML01 are:

    1. GML01Z: Tool only, with accessories
    2. GML01SM: (2) 40V max XGT® Lithium-Ion 4.0Ah batteries, dual port rapid charger, with accessories
    3. GML01PL: (2) 40V max XGT® Lithium-Ion 8.0Ah batteries, dual port rapid charger, with accessories
  • Makita 36V ConnectX 21″ Self‑Propelled Commercial Lawn Mower

    Landscapers are demanding more cordless alternatives to gas-powered outdoor power equipment. Makita is meeting demand with an expanding collection of cordless lawn mowers, including the 36V ConnectX™ Brushless 21″ Self-Propelled Commercial Lawn Mower (CML01Z). With zero emissions, lower noise and considerably less maintenance than gas-powered mowers, this lawn mower is a welcome solution for landscapers.

    The CML01Z utilizes an external battery connection, a backpack power supply (PDC1200A01, sold separately) that is mounted directly onto the lawn mower. The higher capacity power supply provides longer run time. This mower can cut up to 2 acres in 3 hours or less when paired with the ConnectX Portable Backpack Power Supply (PDC1200A01).

  • Makita 17″ Lawn Mower Kit, 18V X2 LXT

    There is increasing demand for more alternatives to gas-powered outdoor power equipment. Makita is meeting demand with an expanding line of cordless OPE that includes the 18V X2 (36V) LXT® Lithium-Ion 17” Lawn Mower. With zero emissions, lower noise and none of the maintenance associated with gas power equipment, the 18V X2 (36V) Cordless Lawn Mower is a welcome solution for efficient grass cutting. It’s powered by two 18V LXT® batteries for maximum power and run time, but without leaving the 18V battery platform. The Makita-built motor delivers 3,600 RPM, and the Mower offers ease-of-use features including quick height adjustments, a 13 gallon capacity grass collector, and a full 17” cutting width.
    Model XML02PT is a kit and includes the Lawn Mower, two fast-charging 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah batteries and an efficient 18V Dual Port Rapid Optimum Charger.
    The Lawn Mower features Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™). XPT™ is a protective seal inside the tool, and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components.
