  • Irwin SAE Thread Pitch Gauge

    A thread pitch gauge is used to determine distance between individual thread rises. This will then show many threads are present in a measured length of a screw or bolt. Whether using metric to measure in millimeters, or standard/SAE to measure in inches, this measurement is used to determine if a given screw or bolt has a coarse thread, or a fine thread.

    This cadmium-plated gauge has 18 leaves, that measure from 44 threads per inch, to 8 threads per inch.

Whether using metric to measure in millimeters, or standard/SAE to measure in inches, this measurement is used to determine if a given screw or bolt has a coarse thread, or a fine thread.

    This brass-plated gauge has 16 leaves, that measure from .35mm to 3mm spacing between threads.
