The Makita  80V MAX (40V X2) XGT® Brushless Brush Cutter (GRU05) is engineered to provide the power equivalent to a 40cc brush cutter, but with lower noise, less maintenance, zero emissions, and no pull starts. It also has lower weight than a comparable gas-powered brush cutter. It can deliver to 100 minutes of run time with two 40V XGT® 4.0Ah batteries. The GRU05 has a bike-handle design for improved grip and a more ergonomic working position and includes a 10” steel four-tooth brush cutter blade for cutting grasses, shrubs, and underwood.

There are 2 feature models of the GRU05 Brush Cutter. The choice is with or without two batteries and rapid charger. Both models include a 10″ brush cutter blade and harness. Options for the Makita GRU05 are:
