The XCS04T1 has a cutting capacity of up to #5 (5/8”) rebar, with a cutting head that rotates a full 360 degrees. Get 233 cuts of #5 rebar with one 18V LXT® 5.0Ah Battery. It is an ideal solution for work away from a power source or in remote locations.
This rebar cutter comes with a carrying case to keep the tool clean when not in use. The case also has spaces for the accessories that come with the tool. These accessories include hex (Allen) wrenches, a spanner (open-end) wrench, hydraulic oil, and a set of replacement blades. The various wrenches are to be used to align and maintain the tool, open and close the return valve, replace the blades, and top up the hydraulic oil as needed (see the Adding Oil tab).

This Cordless Steel Rod Cutter is electro-hydraulic. When shipped from the factory, it was filled with oil. Do not attempt to add oil as long as the tool performs well. Over a period of time the oil level will gradually go down. Eventually this will cause a noticeable dropping off in performance. When this happens add oil as follows.
