The powerful Makita-built brushless motor delivers 74 CFM and 44” water lift of suction using two 18V LXT 5.0Ah Batteries. AWS® is included to make dust collection simple and efficient.
The XCV25ZUX features an oversized on-off switch, variable speed control dial, and dual L.E.D. battery indicators. A large rubber bumper helps prevent damage to the work environment and a locking cover protects the batteries. The motor chamber is constructed with sound-absorbing materials, creating a 64dB(A) on the high setting. Rear casters with locking levers prevent the vacuum from moving. A removable storage box holds attachments and batteries. The vacuum comes equipped with two anti-static hoses (1-1/2” x 8’ and 1” x 11-1/2’).

AWS®
Makita takes another step toward a truly cordless job site with Auto-Start Wireless System. AWS® uses Bluetooth® technology for wireless power-on and power-off communication between the equipped tool and dust extractor. AWS® is intelligent communication that eliminates cords and excessive noise since the dust extractor runs only when trigger-activated by an AWS® tool. When the trigger is released, the dust extractor powers-down. The Makita AWS® dust extractor (XCV25ZX) is powered by two 18V LXT® batteries for maximum performance, and users benefit with an expanding AWS® system that includes cordless tools for concrete (rotary hammer, masonry saw), metal (angle grinder), and woodworking (miter saw, circular saw).
