Description

A Hex Lag Screw, also called a lag bolt, is a full-bodied threaded bolt with a hex head,  spaced threads and a gimlet point. They are used mainly in wood construction.

Finishes:

  • Zinc plating, slows the corrosion rate in a normal atmosphere.
  • Galvanized plating protects the bolt from corrosion.
  • Stainless Steel material. Grade 18-8 has the same design advantages as a low carbon bolt, however can be used in environments that require greater atmospheric corrosion resistance.
