Quick Change Discs, Stiff Back
CGW Quick Change discs are ideal for demanding applications that require heavy force and excellent stock removal. Their STIFF BACK technology allows for +20% more stock removal on high pressure applications. Stiff backed discs also last 30% longer then standard discs when edge wear is an issue.
Quick Change STIFF BACK discs are equal to resin fiber discs for aggressive deburring and interrupted cuts.
The 2″ back pad is required to use these Quick Change discs.

Premium ceramic grain with grinding aid for cool cutting and aggressive stock removal. For use on carbon steel, stainless steel, heat sensitive materials and hard-to-grind alloys.
Zirconia
Zirconia aluminum oxide for faster cutting and long working life.

Glass Sanding Disc, 5″
Black silicon carbide is harder than aluminum oxide, and is generally used for the abrasives and ceramic industries. As it breaks down into smaller particles, the media will expose new, sharp edges. Therefore, as the media breaks down, it will create a “working blend” of various sized particles. This allows for effective surface cleaning/polishing.
These sanding discs use these attributes of silicon carbide to polish glass, as well as ceramics, and stone. -
