Wide Beam Clamp, Galvanized, Shiny
Beam clamps provide structural attachment to the flange of metal beams, purlins, channel strut, or angle iron. Most commonly used to attach threaded rod used to support HVAC duct-work, lights, and other hardware in the open or closed ceiling space of a room. With its galvanized coating, this clamp can also be used in exterior or open building situations.

Because this beam clamp is electroplated with zinc, it is rust-resistant. It is an acceptable choice when doing work in open-air or exposed spaces. With its wider opening than the junior model, this clamp can be used on larger beams, up to 1-1/4" thick.
Also, with its shiny coating, some will prefer it for interior use over the plain finish, to match other visible metalwork in appearance.

These three models of a post base provide a secure mounting point for strut. Once properly bolted in place, it is guaranteed not to move. And with six bolt holes on three sides for all models, the strut will be held in place with no chance of slipping out.
