SPEC SEAL EZD44 EZ-PATH FIRE RATED PATHWAY
The EZ Path® Series 44 Fire Rated Pathway is a maintenance-free pathway device designed to allow medium cable bundles to penetrate fire-rated walls without the need for firestopping. This device features a built-in fire sealing system that automatically adjusts to the amount of cables installed. Once installed in a fire barrier, cables can be easily added or removed at any time without the need to remove or reinstall firestopping materials.

The EZ Path® Series 44 Fire Rated Pathway consists of an enclosed heavy gauge galvanized steel pathway lined with intumescent material engineered for rapid expansion when exposed to fire or high temperatures, quickly sealing the pathway and preventing the passage of flames and smoke.
EZ Path® Series 44 Fire Rated Pathway is painted safety orange for easy identification, and is a maintenance-free pathway solution for smaller cable bundles through fire-rated wall assemblies. Its compact square profile allows a maximum number of cables to be installed in a relatively small area. The pathway measures approximately 4 in (101.6 mm) x 4-5/8 in (118 mm) and is 14 in (356 mm) long. The device is offered as a complete kit without the need for additional accessory products for installation.

Our 3M™ Fire Barrier Moldable Putty Pads MPP+ are a one-part firestop material used in various fire-rated assemblies, such as electrical box protection. BIOSTOP® Firestop Gasket is a single component fire rated gasket for use with electrical boxes when addressing the “24 inch rule”. It is mounted on the inside of the cover plate and installed at the same time as the cover plate, covering the opening and providing the necessary fire protection.
