Chisels, Flat & Scaling
Powered by rotary hammers, flat chisels and scaling chisels clean surfaces very easily. Flat chisels are up to 1″ wide and 48″ in length, while scaling chisels are from 1-1/2″ to 4-1/2″ wide, and only up to 18″ in length.
The shaft of the chisels can be Spline, SDS-Max, or Hex style.

The Makita 40V max XGT® Brushless Cordless 1-3/16″ AVT® Rotary Hammer accepts SDS-PLUS bits, AFT®, AWS® Capable (model GRH08) is a cordless concrete solution designed for heavy-load applications. It is available as the bare tool, as a kit with battery and charger, and with an attached Dust Extractor as well. It delivers the power, speed, and run-time for corded demands, without the cord.
The GRH08 is powered by a 40V max battery with a Makita-built brushless motor that combine to deliver the power and performance required for heavy-load applications. It can deliver up to 135 of 3/8″ holes using a fully charged 40V XGT® 4.0Ah battery*. The variable speed dial and trigger enables the user to match the speed to the application.
XGT is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers utilizing 40v max lithium-ion batteries. XGT is engineered to deliver high power to take on high-demand applications, allowing users to completely transition to a cordless job site. The 1-3/16” Rotary Hammer (HR3001CK) is engineered for performance and power. It has a 7.5 AMP motor that delivers 2.6 ft.lbs. of impact energy to handle the most demanding applications.
