Description
A Hex Lag Screw, also called a lag bolt, is a full-bodied threaded bolt with a hex head, spaced threads and a gimlet point. They are used mainly in wood construction.
Finishes:
- Zinc plating, slows the corrosion rate in a normal atmosphere.
- Galvanized plating protects the bolt from corrosion.
- Stainless Steel material. Grade 18-8 has the same design advantages as a low carbon bolt, however can be used in environments that require greater atmospheric corrosion resistance.
